Miami Dolphins. Tua Tagovailoa. 3. player. 59. . Quarterback

After winning two games in a row in the middle of the year, the Miami Dolphins have fallen back into their losing ways again. The Dolphins have climbed back up to the third pick in the draft, which should give them their choice of franchise quarterbacks not named Joe Burrow.

This pick could be risky because of the injury history, but Tua Tagovailoa has a chance to be a truly special talent at the quarterback position. For a Dolphins’ franchise that has been wandering through the wilderness at the position since Dan Marino retired, they need to make sure they grab the best passer on the board, and that’s Tua.

player. 58. . Wide Receiver. Washington Commanders. Jerry Jeudy. 4

Like their NFC East rivals with the second pick, the Washington Redskins believe they drafted their franchise quarterback in 2019 with Dwayne Haskins. While things haven’t looked great for Haskins so far, the Redskins haven’t helped his cause by giving him one of the worst supporting casts in the league.

Washington will get a chance to address that here by giving Haskins a top-flight wide receiver for the next decade in Alabama’s Jerry Jeudy. While he doesn’t have truly elite athletic traits, Jeudy has been tremendously productive for Alabama, using his excellent route running skills and great hands to become the most trusted pass-catcher for the Crimson Tide.
