In the penultimate game of the Champions League group stage, Slavia Prague host Inter Milan. Prague are fourth in the group with two points. While Inter have four points but are four points behind Barcelona and three points behind Borussia Dortmund.
The group underdogs from Prague have two points in their first four games but could still advance to the knockout stage if they win out and Barcelona beat Borussia Dortmund. It is extremely unlikely that Prague will advance, but to still be alive at this point in the tournament is impressive for the club whose executives could only laugh when they were drawn into this group.
Manager Antonio Conte is proving his worth in his debut season with Inter Milan. Conte’s team has lost only one Serie A game and sit only one point behind Juventus in the Serie A table. However, in the Champions League, Inter have been disappointing. Inter were held to a 1-1 draw by Slavia Prague in the opening game of the tournament and blew halftime leads against Barcelona and Dortmund. If Inter are going to advance to the knockout stage, they will have to win their remaining two games and hope that Dortmund or Barcelona do not win any of their remaining games.
