Will Home Depot be open on Thanksgiving 2019 and what will their hours be on the holiday should you need to make a trip to the hardware store?

Going to Home Depot on Thanksgiving Day might seem like something you’d never need to do — right up until the point that you actually need to do it. Say one of your more rambunctious kids in the family takes out a banister or screen door after getting jacked up on pumpkin pie. You’re going to want to head to the hardware retailer to get that fixed as soon as possible.

Or perhaps you’re in a warmer climate and you like to mix it up for Thanksgiving. Maybe you like to stand outside and smoke your turkey as opposed to throwing it in the over. You might have forgotten a tool or two to make that happen, which is where Home Depot would very much come in handy.

The question on everyone’s mind in that regard, though, is this: Is Home Depot even open on Thanksgiving 2019? While it may make sense for some restaurants or other places to be open for the holiday, the hardware giant seemingly falls in a gray area where you can’t be sure.

Unfortunately, if you do have any hardware, tool or outdoor needs on Thanksgiving Day, you’re going to need to look somewhere else. USA Today says that Home Depot is one of the few bigger retailers that actually closes its doors on Nov. 28 this year.

Should you really need to get to Home Depot sooner rather than later, though, they will open their doors early on Black Friday, unlocking the doors at 6 a.m. local time. Of course, you’re going to have to fight the crowds then.

Your best bet if you aren’t in a panicked rush over a broken house or forgetting something, though, is just to head to Home Depot prior to Thursday and making your life much easier and stress-free.
