DraftKings NBA Small Forwards:

Best Bets:

Buddy Hield ($7,100): Hield survived a mid-November cold snap and seems to be back to his regularly scheduled breakout season. This is a really good matchup against the Bulls and we all know that Buddy will hoist at least 20 shots. There is good upside, even at this price.

Kelly Oubre ($7,000): Oubre is a very inconsistent option for this price, but we’ve seen the upside. We’ve seen it from the moment that the Suns rescued Oubre from the Washington bench. It’s easy to forget that Oubre is still very young. Not everyone hits the ground running in the NBA. The Suns are giving him playing time, especially now that Bridges is ailing. I like the upside for Oubre, but I wouldn’t use him in cash games.

Honorable Mention:

Jabari Parker ($6,900): It’s easy to bury Parker after back to back duds, but the Hawks were just blown off the court by the Rockets on Saturday. The Hawks only played Parker 20 minutes, and who can blame them? No one loses by 47 points in the NBA anymore. There’s no protocol for that sort of thing. Draymond is resting, so this is a sneaky good matchup for Parker. I’ll take a chance on him for this price.

Harrison Barnes ($6,000): It’s possible the Kings saw something with Barnes. He was a peculiar target for them last year, but he is putting together his most consistent year yet. Barnes is trending upward right now with at least 32 DraftKings points in three of the last four games. He’s not going to win you a tournament, but he will no longer lose you one either.

Dark Horses:

Glenn Robinson III ($5,100): Exactly one game after going 0-10 from the floor against the Heat, Robinson hit half of his 16 shots against Orlando. Makes sense. The inconsistency with Robinson is maddening and what keeps him from being a cash game play. However, it does keep the price low for those of us that want to take a shot on him in GPP formats. I’ll be one of them tonight against Atlanta.

James Ennis ($3,800): If J-Rich is out again, Ennis is the guy you want to chase for value. Korkmaz and Thybulle are nice in theory, but neither of them have put up fantasy relevant numbers. Ennis has 54.5 DraftKings points in the two games without Richardson so far. At the very least, Ennis should have earned some good run on the second unit with his recent strong play.
