DraftKings NBA Power Forwards:

Best Bets:

Anthony Davis ($9,600): A.D. is boring for DFS purposes too. He has had to concede some of his dominance to the best player of a generation. Davis has checked his ego and DFS dominance at the door in hopes of a championship. We can’t blame him for that. Davis has one of the better floors out there, but the upside is capped so long as LeBron is in the picture.

Paul George ($8,200): Portland is not a good defensive team anywhere on the court, so using George here may not be a bad idea. Both he and Kawhi are being capped around 30 minutes, a trend that will likely continue until January at the earliest. Load management worked for Kawhi last year and George certainly isn’t complaining either. Hey, if the Clippers are winning doing this, what’s wrong with it? It may suck for us DFS players, but we always have the choice to avoid the situation.

Brandon Ingram ($8,100): Ingram put up 46 DraftKings points in the first meeting with Dallas. Those are numbers that aren’t out of the ordinary for Ingram this year. He has consistently been in the 40’s with Holiday on the court and was even hitting 50 when Holiday was out. This is the player that Ingram is right now. He’s a great cash play, and is suitable for GPP’s on nights like this with a plus matchup.

Honorable Mention:

LaMarcus Aldridge ($7,300): If LMA can play in this game, he’s definitely worth a look. Aldridge gave Houston fits last season. That said, I’m not sure I want to use Aldridge on a wheel that’s not 100% against a running team like Houston. There’s a lot of risk involved here, even for a GPP play.

Carmelo Anthony ($6,300): I don’t make it a point to use players against the Clippers, but I may make an exception tonight. Melo has proven to be a capable and efficient scorer for Portland on a team that desperately needs an inside presence. This wont be a ceiling game for Melo, but I still think he’ll be right around 5x value at low ownership.

Dark Horses:

Larry Nance ($5,700): The emergence of Nance has pressed the issue in the Cleveland frontcourt. What exactly are the plans for Love and Thompson? Nance looks like he can handle a starting job right now since he has been dominating while Love’s minutes have been limited due to a nagging injury. The price is very low considering Nance’s output lately. The upside is still capped so long as Love and Thompson are healthy, but he can still hit 6x value in his current role.

Davis Bertans ($5,300): Bertans is getting good run with a rebuilding Wizards team, something he wasn’t privy to in San Antonio. He’s never going to be a guy that puts up big numbers, but he’s a solid scorer. Put in good minutes, Bertans has consistently hit 6x value for this price. He was a little over that in the first meeting with Orlando.

Christian Wood ($4,400): Wood is maddeningly inconsistent because his role is, but Sunday showed why the Pistons are high on him and why DFS players keep going back. Wood had 28 points, 10 rebounds, and 49 DraftKings points in just 22 minutes in the blowout of the Spurs. Not having to deal with Aldridge likely had something to do with this, but that’s very impressive no matter what the circumstances.
