Scrubs

Derrick Rose (at CLE – $5,500 on DK; $6,100 on FD): I had a hard time deciding between Rose and Kennard, but in the end I’m going with Rose due to his scoring potential, a little revenge factor and the lesser salary. Kennard is also a solid option. The Pistons are inconsistent but they should be able to find plenty of offense against the Cavs.

Larry Nance Jr (vs DET – $5,700 on DK; $6,900 on FD): Nance Jr has been good more often than not. Whether starting or coming off the bench, he’s getting the opportunities and he’s always a double double threat. Dealing with Drummond and Griffin can be tough, at least on paper. Expect Nance to hurt them with his energy.

Tim Hardaway Jr (at SA – $4,600 on DK; $5,000 on FD): Hardaway Jr is up and down at best. He was down in his last game, so if the trend holds, he should be up in this one. The matchup certainly helps as the Pelicans haven’t played defense all season. Hardaway Jr can get hot at any moment and the opportunities will be there for him in this one.

Evan Fournier (at WAS – $6,200 on DK; $6,900 on FD): It’s a weak offense against a weak defense and typically the weak defense shows up more in these situations. And because the Magic offense lacks, they have players at good prices. Fournier has the highest ceiling among their players with Vucevic out and he will easily be able to take advantage of the poor Wizards defense.

Thomas Bryant (vs ORL – $5,600 on DK; $6,300 on FD): Bryant has a strong outing against the Magic earlier this season and that was with Vucevic in the lineup. Without Vucevic, Bryant will have more room and the Magic are already weak against the position. Expect a double double and then some in this one.
