Joe Montana Division

4. Drew Brees (LW: 4)

Brees wasn’t electric on Thanksgiving. He’s starting to throw for fewer yards per game, a trend we’ve seen since the latter half of 2018. Still, he ranks in the top division because he makes so few mistakes, and if he needs to throw for a ton of yardage, it’s still in his repertoire.

3. Russell Wilson (LW: 3)

Wilson wasn’t special on Monday night. He threw a pair of touchdowns to give him 26 on the year, leading the NFL. He was good enough to give the Seattle Seahawk a 37-30 win, putting them into the NFC West lead. Ultimately, his season will be remembered for how it finishes.

2. Lamar Jackson (LW: 2)

Jackson only threw for 105 yards, but he ran for over 100 yet again on Sunday to defeat San Francisco. With a quarter of the season remaining, he’s the clear MVP. The Baltimore Ravens are the best team in football, and Jackson is having one of the all-time seasons for a quarterback, even if much of it is with his legs.

1. Patrick Mahomes (LW: 1)

Mahomes has endured two consecutive bad outings. Luckily for him, he has a defense this year. The Chiefs won both games, and now he tries to slay the New England Patriots. in Foxborough on Sunday. Mahomes needs to be better, but it stands to reason his revival is around the corner.
