DraftKings NBA Small Forwards:

Best Bets:

LeBron James ($10,000): LeBron wont rest until someone makes him, and we aren’t at that point yet. However, we may be at the point that Davis does, especially if the shoulder really is a nagging issue as the injury report suggests. We could see Davis sit out tonight, which would greatly increase the upside of LeBron. He put up 59.25 on the Jazz in the first meeting, so LeBron is a solid play regardless. If Davis ends up sitting, his ownership is going to spike.

Andrew Wiggins ($7,800): For those of you waiting for the “real” Wiggins to show up, I think we already have. This is the real Wiggins. This is the kind of potential that the Timberwolves saw in him that led to that exorbitant contract. The whole Thibodeau-Butler soap opera set Wiggins back a year. Now he is finally doing what many always thought he would. Wiggins is putting up good numbers across the board and is shooting much better shots. He’s worth the price tag now in just about every matchup. He definitely is against Dallas.

Honorable Mention:

Evan Fournier ($6,500): It was another big night for Fournier last night against Washington. We shouldn’t be surprised. That was a plus matchup. Phoenix is going to provide more resistance, but I find it hard to bet against Fournier right now. He is finally putting together a string of games that are well over value for his price range. Use Fournier until he cools off.

Bogdan Bogdanovic ($5,700): A nagging hamstring has dropped the price on Bogdan since he has had trouble finding his stroke and playing his normal workload in his two games back. This could be the time to pounce. Bogdanovic put up 82 DraftKings points in the first two games against Portland this year. Some of that was likely due to the struggles of Hield, but Bogdan only played 30 minutes in each, which is normal for him. There’s good upside for the price here.

Dillon Brooks ($5,700): Brooks has been more aggressive on offense without Jonas on the court over the last couple of games. Brooks has 45 real points and 67.75 DraftKings points in the last two games. We’ve seen this before with Brooks, but he has never been able to have sustained success. If Jonas is out again though, I may give this another chance.

Dark Horses:

T.J. Warren ($5,500): Warren racked up 37.25 DraftKings points in the first meeting with the Thunder this year. Warren doesn’t have a ton of upside, but he also routinely hits or passes 30 DraftKings points. With his price in this range, that’s 5.8x value. I can live with that.

Tim Hardaway Jr. ($5,400): Hardaway has also excelled since moving to the starting unit. We know that he can light up a scoreboard in a hurry, but if he’s cold, Hardaway can single-handedly sink you. However, he is a very streaky player and right now is riding a hot streak. We should at least consider riding it with him.
