DraftKings EuroLeague Forwards:

For those of you that are NBA fans, you know that Greg Monroe has never been a big scorer. That’s still true across the pond. Monroe is a huge interior presence though, so he does have a nice floor. Just be aware that he’s never going to come up with a truly big game.

You have to look to Bojan Dubljevic for that. He’s a sound scorer, but his floor isn’t what Monroe’s is. Today I am more interested in Dubljevic thanks to the matchup and the $800 you can save over Monroe.

Omri Casspi is a strong, consistent presence and you basically need him in cash lineups. I think you can do better in GPP formats though.

Vladimir Lucic has really pickedĀ  up his play lately, topping 27 DraftKings points in two of the last three rounds. This is a superb matchup for Lucic. I prefer using him over Monroe here because Tel Aviv gives up more points up front.

Jock Landale is still cheap and still producing, but he only played 15 minutes against Berlin. Chalk that up to a bad matchup. CSKA routinely runs small, so Landale should be back up to his mid 20’s minutes total today. Paul Zipser is also a strong play in this matchup.

I don’t care at all about the matchup when it comes to Gabriel Deck right now. He’s one of the guys that allows Real Madrid to go light at guard with Llull out. Deck is a capable scorer and a great passer for his size.

Kyle Hines is the guy that has most filled the void left by Clyburn. This is a tougher matchup for Hines, but the minutes he plays at this price make him worth the risk.

The Valencia front is still a bit in flux, but Alberto Abalde has played well enough to carve out a good role. Real Madrid is a good team up front, but I still really like Abalde for this price. Value is actually tough on this slate. I’m more interested in trying to get the most out of my value plays than hoping to hit on an outlier game. For that reason, Quincy Acy is also one of my favorites.
