WWE NXT power rankings: Week of Dec. 4, 2019

2 of 3

NXT Women’s division

10. Tegan Nox

Nox will be on the sidelines nursing injuries for a while. Her expected feud with Dakota Kai should be money.

9. Taynara

Taynara hasn’t been in action since picking up a victory over Santana Garrett a couple of weeks back. Her notable aggressive streak in that contest earns her a place in the rankings.

8. Candice LeRae

LeRae wasn’t in action this week after doing battle with Dakota Kai last week. LeRae and her War Games partners are all looking for retribution against Kai.

7. Xia Li

Xia Li picked up from last week in one on one action against champion Shayna Baszler. Li showcased why she could easily be near the top of the division but ultimately fell to the champ. The future is bright for Xia.

6. Bianca Belair

The EST of NXT wasn’t in action this week but remains a large part of the division. She should be making her return soon.

5. Dakota Kai

Dakota Kai continued her transformation this week with her entrance video featuring her attack on Tegan Nox. Expecting to do battle with Rhea Ripley, she instead was met with Mia Yim returning from injury. These two will meet in the ring next week.

4. Mia Yim

Mia Yim returned to Full Sail this week looking for a fight against Dakota Kai. Kai revealed she was the one to take out Yim before War Games. Yim gets Kai to herself next Wednesday.

3. Io Shirai

Shirai wasn’t in action this week and she doesn’t really have a story post Takeover War Games. Shirai being a fan favorite will be difficult to keep out of the title picture for long.

2. Rhea Ripley

Rhea Ripley became a victim of Shayna and Co. Wednesday. Despite being outnumbered she held her own for most of the assault. She’ll get Baszler one-on-one in two weeks for the championship.

1. Shayna Baszler

Shayna Baszler got the upper hand on Rhea Ripley Wednesday. Baszler would then lay out the challenge to Ripley for the title. On Dec. 18, Baszler will defend in one of her riskiest bouts of the year.
