Dave Bautista and members of the New World Order will be inducted into the 2020 Hall of Fame on April 4 during WrestleMania 36 weekend.

As per the annual tradition, WWE will hold its Hall of Fame induction ceremony on April 4, 2020. It will take place during WrestleMania 36 weekend, and two big entries have now been announced to take their place in history.

On Monday, ESPN announced the nWo and Dave Bautista will headline the upcoming Hall of Fame induction.

For Batista, it closes out a monumental career that saw his final match at WrestleMania 35. His WWE career started in 2000, and he went on to become a four-time World Heavyweight Champion, as well as WWE Champion. He won the Royal Rumble in 2005 and in 2014 before moving on to Hollywood to star in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, among other films. He was also part of Evolution, alongside Triple H, Ric Flair, and Randy Orton.

The man known as “The Animal” spoke to People magazine about his induction and revealed WWE Chairman Vince McMahon called him to make the offer. He said as soon as he hung up the phone, he realized he would have to make a speech and started stressing about it, but he is excited for the honor.

Also getting inducted this year will be what is considered “core four” of the New World Order. Hulk Hogan will join Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and Sean “X-Pac” Waltman as the nWo gets a collective induction. It will be the second trip for each of the four since they’ve all been inducted individually.

Hogan was inducted in 2005, Hall received his honor as “Razor Ramon” in 2014, Nash entered in 2015 and Waltman was honored as part of D-Generation X last year.

The 2020 WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place on Thursday, April 2 at Amalie Arena in Tampa. With SmackDown once again on Friday nights, it allows the NXT TakeOver event to return to its Saturday night spot ahead of WrestleMania.
