DraftKings NBA Shooting Guards:

Best Bets:

Donovan Mitchell ($7,400): Mitchell has 72 DraftKings points in the two games against Minnesota so far this year. That’s right about 5x value, but his value is trending slightly upward with Conley still out. The Jazz do seem as though they would rather have Mitchell off the ball though, so his value doesn’t get a huge boost. It’s enough to consider using him though, even on a loaded slate.

Jrue Holiday ($7,100): Holiday seems like too good of a player to be priced this low. So long as this game stays competitive, Holiday could have a good day since the Bucks don’t defend the perimeter all that well. The return of Favors may actually help Holiday’s numbers a bit, but he wont get back near his ceiling unless he starts hitting outside shots again.

Terry Rozier ($7,100): Rozier put up a strong 37.5 DraftKings points on the Nets last Friday. He struggled a bit against the Hawks, and that highlights what makes me nervous about Rozier. Graham is the playmaker in this offense. If Rozier isn’t hitting his shots, he has no chance at hitting value. However, with two of the Nets’ best perimeter defenders out, it should be another strong game for Rozier.

Honorable Mention:

Khris Middleton ($6,400): Middleton isn’t quite back to normal minutes yet, but the production has been there anyway. When Khris put up 39.75 on Orlando in just 29 minutes, it’s time to take notice. Orlando is a solid defense. Middleton is a great play for the price. I am a bit worried about a blowout, but Middleton’s price is low enough that he’ll still do enough getting it to that point. I’m more worried about Giannis and that price tag not getting us what we need.

RJ Barrett ($5,700): The lack of consistent shooting hurts Barrett’s bottom line, but he does enough other things to put a solid line up most nights. We just saw Morant light up the Warriors backcourt the other night. If Barrett’s shot is falling, he will do the same at a much lower price.

Joe Harris ($5,600): We are at the point where anyone that plays Charotte is a solid play right now. We saw a ton of Wizards players hit value on them last night. A pure shooter like Harris that is playing 30 minutes feels like exactly what we want in this situation and the price is right.

Dark Horses:

Ben McLemore ($5,400): Benny Mac played so well with House out that he has basically stolen his role. McLemore is a solid defender and a better shooter. All 13 of his shot attempts came from beyond the arc on Monday night. That kind of volume gives McLemore a high ceiling for a reasonable price.

Kevin Huerter ($4,300): Huerter has looked solid over the last couple of games, but I’m not entirely sure he’ll play in this game. The Hawks are bringing him along very slowly and using him in the second game of a back to back goes against that. If Huerter is ultimately ruled out, you can easily sub in Reddish or Bembry here for around the same upside if either one starts.

Denzel Valentine ($3,200): Valentine is a hell of a bargain right now. He played 23 minutes against the Raptors and racked up 19.5 DraftKings points in the process. If he can get that kind or production against the Raptors, I think Denzel can do some real damage to that Atlanta bench on the second night of a back to back.
