Paris Saint-Germain face Galatasaray at Parc des Princes on Wednesday, Dec. 11. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
The Champions League group stage wraps up on Wednesday. In the sixth game of the group stage, Paris Saint-Germain host Galatasaray at Parc des Princes. The reigning Ligue 1 champions have already clinched first place in the group. Galatasaray are last in the group but could advance to the Europa League knockout stage.
PSG are first in Ligue 1 again this season. However, success for Thomas Tuchel’s team will be determined by how far they go in the Champions League. With his club already through to the knockout stage, Tuchel could decide to rest the majority of his key players and give a rare start to some of his reserve players.
Galatasaray might only have two points in their first five games of the group stage, but they could finish third and advance to the Europa League knockout stage. The Turkish side will have to beat PSG and hope that Club Brugge do not beat a Real Madrid side that have already clinched their spot in the knockout stage.
Even against a reserve PSG squad, Galatasaray will be challenged by the Parisians. Manager Fatih Terim’s team has struggled in the Super Lig this season and are currently sixth, seven points behind Sivasspor. The biggest problem for Galatasaray this season has been scoring goals. In 21 games across all competitions, the Lions have scored only 17 goals. Scoring goals will be even more difficult on Wednesday as three of the club’s top four goal scorers are sidelined with injuries.

PSG advanced to the Champions League knockout stage for the eighth straight season. However, the club has disappointingly lost in the round of 16 the past three seasons.
