DraftKings EuroLeague basketball picks December 13

The smaller portion of round 13 of our DraftKings EuroLeague tournaments is today with four games on tap. This slate is dominated by bigs and Calathes. What is the right mix? A lot of that will have to do with value. Injuries can help pick out where some of those are hiding.

Out: Marius Grigonis (foot), Mateusz Ponitka (concussion), Nemanja Nedovic (thigh), Adreian Payne (foot), Kevin Pangos (toe), Evgeny Voronov (nose), Rokas Jokubaitis (ankle), Thomas Bray, Andrey Zubkov.

Questionable: Nihad Dedovic (knee), Victor Claver (foot), Guillem Vives (thigh), Sam Van Rossom (knee), Leon Radosevic (ankle), Josh Huestis (knee).

I’m guessing that even if Valencia plays Van Rossom, it will be in very limited capacity. Van Rossom is cheap enough to make this tempting, but I think I’ll wait. Uncertainty in the EuroLeague is a lot different than in the NBA. Starting lineups and injury reports are not league regulated.

Joffrey Lauvergne single-handedly sank my lineup. I did well enough with the other five players. In such a small lineup, one bad pick can indeed ruin it.

The rotations can be frustrating sometimes as more players see the court than in your average NBA game. The games themselves are also shorter, playing four ten minute quarters as opposed to 12 minutes in the NBA. The court is smaller, the lane is bigger, and the three point line is closer, but the action is still what you would expect from world class basketball!

For DraftKings EuroLeague, we can’t expect 5x value like in the NBA. Most winning lineups are around 180-200 DraftKings points, which is around 3.5 – 4x value.
