Top star players, best value picks, and guys you should stay a way from on December 13 in NBA Daily Fantasy Sports on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Welcome to Studs, Scrubs, and Duds; FanSided’s daily fantasy NBA lineup helper.

Here’s what’s on the slate for tonight:

7 p.m. ET: LA Lakers at Miami, Houston at Orlando, New Orleans at Philadelphia
7:30 p.m. ET: Indiana at Atlanta
8 p.m. ET: Charlotte at Chicago, Milwaukee at Memphis
9 p.m. ET: Golden State at Utah
9:30 p.m. ET: LA Clippers at Minnesota
10 p.m. ET: New York at Sacramento

How this works:

Studs: Top high salary picks that you can build your lineup around.
Scrubs: Value players looking for a big night or consistent options to help fill out your lineup.
Duds: Players to avoid given their high salary and/or poor matchup.

Five players are picked on each slide, positions are not applicable, and both DraftKings and FanDuel salaries are listed.

Studs

Rudy Gobert (vs GS – $8,300 on DK; $8,700 on FD): Gobert is a guaranteed double-double. The Warriors are mediocre against the position and Draymond isn’t going to play, which hurts them in multiple ways. Gobert should dominate with his scoring and rebounding. I also like Mitchell if you want to spend a little less on a scorer with high upside and a great matchup. But the double double will be hard to ignore.

Devonte’ Graham (at CHI – $8,300 on DK; $7,900 on FD): Graham continues to score in a big way, so until he shows signs of slowing down, you should keep taking him at the price he’s at. There should be plenty of offense in this game given the matchup and outside of LaVine, Graham is the best scorer on the floor.

Domantas Sabonis (at ATL – $8,100 on DK; $9,000 on FD): Much like Gobert, there’s a guaranteed double-double in Sabonis. The Hawks are going to play at a high pace and Sabonis is going to get easy buckets on the run and in the post and pick up plenty of rebounds on missed shots. I love Sabonis in this game given the opponent and he could end up as one of the top value options on the night.

Ben Simmons (vs NO – $8,200 on DK; $8,800 on FD): It’s a back to back for the Sixers, which is a concern. But the matchup is too good to pass up on. I’m torn between just about everyone on the Sixers because on any given night, Simmons, Embiid or Harris could have a big outing. With his triple-double potential, I’m going to go with Simmons against the Pelicans. He should get plenty of easy buckets and assist opportunities while chipping in with rebounds. His poor game against the Celtics actually gives me more confidence on Friday.

Kawhi Leonard (at MIN – $9,000 on DK; $9,900 on FD): Kawhi and George are around the same price, but I’m higher on Kawhi in this matchup. It’s tough to predict which one will have the big outing as they’ve balanced each other out nicely on the court, which has hurt their fantasy value. But the matchup says one of them will have a bigger outing than normal. And my money is on Kawhi.
