A brief survey of cutest cuties in the Star Wars universe.
There are a lot of cuties in the Star Wars universe, in no small part because the fine folks at Disney like to treat us to 1-3 new cuties per installment. Sometimes the cutie is a new droid, sometimes it’s a mammal, sometimes it’s a younger version of a cutie we’ve seen before.
This is a list of the cutest of those cuties.
Before we proceed, a note on humans: Humans can be cuties! Of course they can. But not everyone in Star Wars consistently-attractive cast can be called a cutie. You have to have cutie energy. For example, Rey (Daisy Ridley) is gorg and a badass but not a cutie. Kylo Ren is played by Adam Driver, a tree of a man and a Rorschach test of hotness, but not a cutie. Leia? Beautiful, commanding, not a cutie. Han Solo? Fine as a top-shelf wine but upon rewatching A New Hope sort of a tool and tools don’t have cutie energy! Maz Kanata? Cool as hell. Whomever Richard E. Grant plays? A delight. But none of these humans are Star Wars Cuties (TM).
Also not a cutie: C-3PO, wampas, old Yoda.
This list is not comprehensive and almost entirely ignores the prequels, mostly on account of the rat-tails and mullets, but definitely @ the FanSided Entertainment Twitter account and we will happily tell you whether your forgotten fave is a Star Wars Cutie.
