Scrubs

Dillon Brooks (vs WAS – $5,100 on DK; $5,800 on FD): Morant will be out once again, which means Brooks is the top guy on the perimeter. It’s a back to back for Memphis but they’re up against the Wizards, and the most tired of NBA legs can score against the Wizards. He will get buckets and assists in this one and remains at a great price with the circumstances.

Jamal Murray (vs OKC – $5,900 on DK; $7,000 on FD): Murray’s salary has dropped and that’s great news for DFS players. He’s been inconsistent this season but we know he has a high ceiling. And he always seems to kill the Thunder. Chris Paul is a more attentive defender than Russell Westbrook, but Murray finds a way to carve up the OKC scheme. He’ll get you at least value in the lower salary.

PJ Tucker (vs DET – $4,700 on DK; $5,300 on FD): Tucker will be needed in a big way in this game going up against Blake and Andre. And these are the games where Tucker seems to shine because he’s going to battle for boards, chip in with defense, and get his corner shots against a not so great defense.

Derrick Rose (at HOU – $5,600 on DK; $5,700 on FD): Rose has turned into a very reliable player and his ceiling is high. The Rockets are on a back to back, so maybe they have some tired legs. Rose typically plays very well against Westbrook as well, so don’t sleep on that matchup. He won’t hurt you at this price and he’s worth it with the ceiling and matchup.

Marc Gasol (vs BKN – $5,300 on DK; $5,800 on FD): The Nets have nothing going with their frontcourt against DFS centers. Gasol has played very well in recent outings, going well over his value. He can do a little bit of everything as well. He’s a double-double threat and will give you defense as well.
