The 3 NFL games you can’t afford to miss in Week 16
Showdowns for division titles headline the games that you have to watch in Week 16 of the NFL season.
There are only two weeks left to go in the regular season, and that means division titles are up for grabs. Even though Week 17 is traditionally an all-divisional affair, the season has set us up with three potential division title clinchers this week, making them our must-see games of the week.
Let’s start on Saturday as the New England Patriots look to take home another AFC East crown.
Buffalo Bills (10-4) at New England Patriots (11-3)
Both of these teams are going to the playoffs, but the Bills have to win out and the Patriots have to lose out for the AFC East title to go to Buffalo. These two teams played a very competitive game early in the season, with New England winning 16-10 in Buffalo back in Week 4, and this game could be another defensive showdown.
Dallas Cowboys (7-7) at Philadelphia Eagles (7-7)
The NFC East has been largely mediocre all year long, but one of these teams is set to going to host the NFC West runner up on Wild Card weekend. The Cowboys beat the Eagles earlier this season and put together their most complete performance of the season in a blowout of the Rams on Sunday, a good sign since they can clinch the division by completing the sweep of the Eagles.
Green Bay Packers (11-3) at Minnesota Vikings (10-4)
The final Monday Night Football matchup of the season is a doozy as the Packers look to clinch the NFC North title in Minnesota against the Vikings. This game is of much greater importance for Minnesota, which can clinch a playoff berth with a win or a loss by the Rams and retains a shot at the division title if the Packers find a way to lose to Detroit next week.
