DraftKings NBA picks December 17: Clippers get Ayton alive
We have a solid six games in the Association tonight. The King is in action in Indy. We have a defensive battle between Orlando and Utah. The Hawks and Knicks battle for a draft pick. The Clippers and the Suns have some late night hammers. This is going to be a fun one!
Before the fun, let’s cover the not so fun part: injuries.
Out: Kyrie Irving (shoulder), John Collins (suspension), Zion Williamson (knee), Victor Oladipo (knee), P.J. Washington (hand),J.J. Redick (groin),Kyle Kuzma (ankle), JaMychal Green (back), Reggie Bullock (back), Nicolas Batum (hand), Wayne Ellington (Achilles), Allonzo Trier (concussion), DeMarcus Cousins (knee), Al-Farouq Aminu (knee), Kevin Durant (Achilles), Nicolas Claxton (hamstring), Darius Miller (Achilles).
Questionable: Anthony Davis (ankle), Devon Booker (forearm), Lou Williams (calf), Caris LeVert (thumb), Patrick Beverley (concussion), Kevin Huerter (shoulder), JaMychal Green (back), Tyler Johnson (illness), JaKarr Sampson (back).
De’Aaron Fox is expected to make his season debut tonight. The shoulder didn’t keep Davis out, but a sore ankle may. Keep an eye on that one. Oh, and Ayton is back. Talk about burying the lead! LeVert is finally traveling with the team, but his actual debut may wait a couple of days.
I did pretty well last night with all three lineups hitting 280 or better, but with the cash line a ridiculous 298.25, only my lineup with 304 cashed. I rode Detroit value with Giannis and Brunson, but a subpar game from Butler and a poor game from Gasol hurt the potential.
Jr412pgh took it home with a fairly low 379.75 DraftKings points. that’s surprising considering the cash line was almost 300. He rode Giannis with Porzingis, C.J., and Norman Powell and his lowest value pick was Markieff Morris at 33.75. DiVincenzo, Brunson, and IT2 all came up big.
