DraftKings EuroLeague Guards:

It comes down to Alexey Shved or Mike James at the top again. James has recovered after a slow start, but if you are using him expecting stat lines near last year’s output, you’re not going to find it. James is good for around 30 DraftKings points. Shved also was cold for a spell, but he has 80.25 DraftKings points over the last two rounds. I prefer the upside of Shved, but James is the safer option.

Man, this is a tough matchup for Lorenzo Brown, but how can you argue with his recent run? Brown has 109.25 DraftKings points over the last three games. I tend to think Billy Baron’s stats suffer more, but Brown being just $200 less than James feels dangerous.

I don’t trust the inconsistency of Maodo Lo, especially not with Peyton Siva sitting there just below him. Lo has the better matchup, but I want to see more than one productive game before I go back to Lo. Siva doesn’t have the upside, but you’ll get 24 DraftKings points out of him.

Janis Strelnieks has been the perfect compliment to James. He has at least 19.5 DraftKings points in six straight, which is nice given the price. Game stacks are an interesting approach on a three game slate. CSKA is worth looking into for that. This looks even better if Hilliard is out.

I like the matchup for Brandon Paul, but this feels like a game that Spanoulis can dominate if he’s healthy. I don’t get the feeling that Paul or WIll Cherry can do that even if given the opportunity with Spanoulis out. They are fine value picks, just don’t expect a lot.

Dino Hackett is the guy I really want if Hilliard is out. We saw him have some good games last year when given enough run. Minutes have been an issue for much of the season, but CSKA is starting to play him about half the game now. Hackett has done well for the price when given that many minutes.

If Spanoulis remains out, Taylor Rochestie is worth rolling out there. Rochestie has done well when given minutes. He put up 24.25 DraftKings points in 20 minutes against Real Madrid. If Rochestie were somehow guaranteed minutes, he would be a must play option.
