DraftKings EuroLeague basketball picks December 19

Round 15 of DraftKings EuroLeague kicks off with four games on out Thursday. This is a guard heavy slate with a lot of the forwards injured Let’s see who joins them.

Out:  Omri Casspi (knee), Jan Vesely (knee), Sergio Llull (thigh), Nate Wolters (hip), Mateusz Ponitka (concussion), Nemanja Nedovic (thigh), Fernando San Emetrio (ankle), Guillem Vives (leg), Andrey Zubkov (undisclosed), Felipe Reyes (thigh), Jon DiBartolomeo (mectoral), Patricio Garino (knee), Jayson Granger (knee).

Questionable: Tarik Black (knee), Jordan Mickey (ankle), Amadeo Della Valle (undisclosed), Aaron White (undisclosed), Joan Sastre (illness).

None of the questionable guys are starters, but Black and Mickey do play good roles. It opens up some bench value if either of them sit.

Yesterday’s two overtime games knocked me out of the money as I only had Shved going in those. Peyton Siva was enough to knock me out.

The rotations can be frustrating sometimes as more players see the court than in your average NBA game. The games themselves are also shorter, playing four ten minute quarters as opposed to 12 minutes in the NBA. The court is smaller, the lane is bigger, and the three point line is closer, but the action is still what you would expect from world class basketball!

For DraftKings EuroLeague, we can’t expect 5x value like in the NBA. Most winning lineups are around 180-200 DraftKings points, which is around 3.5 – 4x value.
