Los Angeles Chargers. Justin Herbert. 9. player. 13. . Quarterback

The Los Angeles Chargers suffered an embarrassing loss to the Minnesota Vikings this past Sunday, and for this team, it has been a disappointing season throughout. Coming into the year as a potential contender in the AFC, the Chargers have been wildly inconsistent, and it may be time to turn the page at quarterback.

Philip Rivers has been the face of this franchise for years, but watching him every Sunday, it is clear that he just does not have it anymore. Sure, he may go somewhere else and get an opportunity to start now that his contract is running out with the Chargers, but they are going to want a new face of the franchise as they enter their new building in 2020.

Enter Justin Herbert, who many consider to be the most NFL-ready signal-caller that this draft class has to offer. He has a rocket for a right arm, can make plays with his legs, and after four years of starting at Oregon, he can head to the Chargers and be the second-best Ducks quarterback (Dan Fouts) to ever put on the jersey.

45. . Offensive Lineman. Denver Broncos. Jedrick Wills Jr.. 10. player

The Denver Broncos were riding high as they entered their Week 15 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, as they had looked to find their future at quarterback. 2019 draft pick Drew Lock had looked outstanding during his first two starts under center for the Broncos, but his feel-good story came crashing down to earth against the Chiefs in Arrowhead.

While Lock is still considered the team’s future at quarterback, the Broncos have to get better along the offensive line if he is ever going to become an elite player in this league. With the No. 10 overall pick, Denver may look to target Jedrick Wills Jr. out of Alabama, who is one of the more versatile linemen in this draft class.

Wills is a guy who plays with a big chip on his shoulder, and at the NFL level, he could play inside, or even at tackle if the Broncos need him too. They have whiffed on offensive linemen in the first round in recent years, but Wills comes from a dominant program, and this franchise needs to do all they can to protect Lock moving forward.
