DraftKings EuroLeague basketball picks December 20

Round 15 of the DraftKings EuroLeague ends with a five game slate that is relatively strong. Let’s dig up some value to go with these strong plays, starting with the injury report.

Out: Bryant Dunston (arms), Victor Claver (foot), Tyler Cavanaugh (undisclosed), Kevin Pangos (toe), Stratos Perperoglu (knee), Marius Grigonis (foot), Rokas Jokubaitis (ankle), Mikhail Kulagin (calf), Will Clyburn (knee), Thomas Bray (undisclosed), Stefan Peno (knee).

Questionable: Lorenzo Brown (leg), Janis Timma (undisclosed), Derrick Brown (undisclosed), Nihad Dedovic (knee), Matthew Strazel (finger), Egor Vialtsev (knee), Leon Radosevic (ankle).

We still don’t know what’s wrong with Timma, so we can’t really speculate how close he is to playing. Fun stuff! Adreian Payne is expected to return to cap off Round 15, but even if he does, I expect it to be in a limited capacity.

The first dud from Alberto Abalde in over a month ruined the big score from Tyler Dorsey. Shengelia was a disappointment as well, but that could have been survived.

The rotations can be frustrating sometimes as more players see the court than in your average NBA game. The games themselves are also shorter, playing four ten minute quarters as opposed to 12 minutes in the NBA. The court is smaller, the lane is bigger, and the three point line is closer, but the action is still what you would expect from world class basketball!

For DraftKings EuroLeague, we can’t expect 5x value like in the NBA. Most winning lineups are around 180-200 DraftKings points, which is around 3.5 – 4x value.
