DraftKings NBA Centers:

Best Bets:

Karl-Anthony Towns ($10,800): Towns put up 60.5 DraftKings points on Denver earlier this year, so if Towns plays, he’s the one stud that’s worth the price. I’m thinking that Towns wont play since he didn’t practice yesterday. If he doesn’t, Gorgui Dieng is an outstanding play for the price again.

Joel Embiid ($10,000): Embiid has at least 50 DraftKings points in four straight since being called out by Shaq and Barkley. He did a number on Bam and Boston in that span. Expect the same thing to happen against Dallas here. The Mavs don’t have anyone that can stop Embiid. He’ll be able to do whatever he wants tonight.

Andre Drummond ($9,600): Drummond’s value doesn’t get a whole lot better with Blake out. That usually falls upon the guards. Drummond has done work whether Blake is in the lineup or not. Boston is a weak defensive team up front. Drummond should hit 20 rebounds. If he scored 20 points for the third straight game, he could outdo Embiid and Towns.

Honorable Mention:

Bam Adebayo ($8,900): Bam has gone off the charts in December. Even though the Knicks are good in the middle, I don’t they’ll be able to stop Bam here. He’s going to play a whole bunch of minutes against a team that probably can’t stop him. If you can’t afford an elite center, Bam is a hell of a consolation prize.

Serge Ibaka ($7,400): Well, I see DraftKings isn’t pissing around this time. Ibaka’s price jumped $2,400 with his dominating performance against Detroit after Gasol went down. This price is still reasonable for what he is going to do to the Wizards. Washington is not a strong team up front even when at full strength and they are still missing Mo, Rui, and Bryant. The only thing stopping Ibaka is a blowout.

Dark Horses:

Steven Adams ($6,100): Adams has shaken off a terrible start to the season and has at least 30 DraftKings points in nine of the last 11 games. WIthout Ayton, I’m not sure how much resistance the Suns can give up front. Adams seems like a certain 5x value tonight with the potential for more.

Myles Turner ($5,300): I knew that at some point Turner would be a huge value at this price. He has 75.25 DraftKings points over the last two games. Sabonis has the tougher matchup against the Kings. This should be a place that Turner shines again.

Anzejs Pasecniks ($4,200): The Wizads are gutted up front right now, so they brought in reinforcements. Pasecniks made his NBA debut on Wednesday and played 28 minutes, putting up 19.5 DraftKings points. That’s a solid return, and the youngster should only get better.
