Manchester City face Leicester City at Etihad Stadium on Saturday, Dec. 21. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

In one of the marquee games on the Premier League schedule this weekend, Manchester City host Leicester at Etihad Stadium. City are third in the table with 35 points. The Foxes are second in the table, four points ahead of the Citizens but 10 points behind first-place Liverpool.

As the Premier League season nears its halfway point, it does not look like the Citizens will be able to repeat as Premier League champions again. The past two seasons, City had been dominant, winning back-to-back titles. This season, City have slipped up, allowing Liverpool to soar past them.

Injuries at the back have hurt City this season. Center-back Aymeric Laporte is unlikely to play against Leicester with a knee injury. Laporte will be joined on the sidelines with Sergio Aguero. The Argentine striker is tied with Raheem Sterling for the team lead with nine goals this season. With Aguero injured, Gabriel Jesus will continue to start in his place.

Leicester are unbeaten in their last nine games. The Foxes drew 1-1 with Norwich last weekend, ending an eight-game winning streak. Leicester’s rise this season can be attributed to the club’s plus-29 goal differential, the best mark in the Premier League. Caglar Soyuncu has become one of the best young center-backs, helping the Foxes concede only 11 goals this season. Jamie Vardy leads the Premier League with 16 goals this season. Despite being 32 years old, the age most strikers are in the declining phase of their career, Vardy is having one of the best seasons of his career. He has been on fire after a slow start, scoring 11 goals in his last nine games.
