DraftKings NBA early slate:

With Doncic and Siakam both sidelined, the highest priced player is Porzingis. With all of the value on the slate, you can use him as the captain if you want. There’s not a ton of restrictions here. The only thing we have to choose is who the highest scoring player will be.

For me I think it’s still Porzingis. He has at least 50 DraftKings points in every game with Luka out. Kyle Lowry is a very strong option as well, but I don’t think he outscores Porzingis. Porzingis put up 46.25 DraftKings points in the first meeting with Toronto, and that was with both teams mostly at full strength.

Putting in Porzingis at captain and Lowry at flex leaves us $6,900 per position to fill out the roster, and VanVleet is the next highest priced player at $8,200. We just have to decide whether we want him or not. VanVleet put up 42.75 DraftKings points in his return.

I prioritize Serge Ibaka over VanVleet here, but there really isn’t any reason that we can’t use both. Putting both in there still leaves us $5,800 per slot to fill out the last two. If you want to use both Jalen Brunson and Tim Hardaway, you can move off of VanVleet. The question is whether Brunson is worth it.

This is a really tough matchup at guard for Brunson. For me, I would use Fred and take a shot on the assured value of Brunson or the huge ceiling of THJ. Depending on which one you pick, it’s easy to slide in either Seth Curry or Wright to finish this off.
