DraftKings NBA Small Forwards:

Best Bets:

Giannis only put up 55.75 DraftKings points in the first meeting with the Pacers. That’s still 5x value, and 5x value will likely get you to the cash line tonight. Is that all you want though? I’m not sure how much above that total Giannis goes because the Pacers defend well. However, if Sabonis is out, Giannis is a dangerous fade since 55 would seem to be his floor.

Honorable Mention:

There is a precipitous drop at the position, but you can use Tatum or PG here as well. If you need to drop down farther, the best middle tier option is T.J. Warren. Warren is a strong option, but there is very little upside here. Warren is usually shown up by Brogdon or Sabonis

Which brings me to the next point. If Sabonis is out, that opens up a whole lot of things for the Pacers bench. Among the greatest benefactors could be Warren, who would be relied upon for more scoring. Warren can also run at the four in a pinch if the Pacers want to go small.

Dark Horses:

Marvin Williams was starting to carve out a larger role for himself before he was sidelined for a couple of games. It appears as though no one gained any ground on Williams. He is still a strong bench option for Charlotte and is cheap enough to get some value out of.

The hardest part about Kawhi sitting is where to look for value on the Clippers bench. Is it Mo Harkless, who starts but isn’t guaranteed a lot of minutes? Or is it Landry Shamet, who has good upside but is horribly inconsistent? I’d rather just leave this whole thing alone.
