Being the Elite episode 184 recap: Blood on my Hands
Being the Elite is a weekly YouTube series that features The Elite and their friends to build AEW’s characters and storylines. New episodes are posted every Monday.
This week’s Being the Elite begins with the SCU/Young Bucks Second Annual Christmas party. The Bucks aren’t eating because SCU beat them last week to retain the AEW World Tag Team titles. SCU are encouraging them and trying to get them to celebrate. Scorpio Sky & Frankie Kazarian stand up to reveal the titles around their waists. The Jacksons are offended and tell them to leave. Christopher Daniels stays behind, but they make him leave because he coached the match. On the way out, CD says that “Dana’s food wasn’t that good anyway.” Matt says it was Cracker Barrel’s catering before spearing him onto a bean bag, where he mocks the Dark Order ending to last week’s Dynamite.
BTE cuts back to the Christmas party where the Jacksons are inside by the window and SCU are outside in the cold. Sky states that he thinks they’re really upset. Kaz says “dddd-o ya?!” Matt’s wife, Dana, lets them back in because it’s the “Bucks/SCU Christmas party.”
Justin Roberts is backstage with Michael Nakazawa and Britt Baker. There’s a subtitle that says “before Michael was kidnapped by PAC”. Naka is holding up pictures of people with John their names and Roberts responded “JE-YOOOOOOOOOOOOON” for all of them (except Cena, he who says he doesn’t know). Nick Jackson walks up to let him know that “the ‘Merch Freak’ is here. Would you like an AEW shirt?” He unzips his jacket to reveal Roberts’ new shirt. Roberts looks confused and says he doesn’t get it. Naka says, “It’s John. It’s English.”
Adam “Hangman” Page is drinking backstage and talking to an employee about how he hit Omega with a buckshot lariat during their match by mistake. When he realizes that he didn’t apologize, he goes off to find him. Page asks Sammy Guevara if he’s “seen my friend?” When Guevara says no, he starts wandering around yelling, “Kenny! Kenny!” When Darby Allin tells him the same thing, Page skateboards off, still yelling “Kenny!”
Page is then straddling an equipment case like a horse yelling for Kenny. Leva Bates reads to him and in another scene, Page thinks he’s dancing with Private Party, but they aren’t really there. When he runs into Orange Cassidy, Page apologizes for also wearing a denim jacket. He also runs into RIHO and Kaz. When he finally finds Omega in a dressing room, he tells him that he’s been looking for him, but passes out before apologizing.
Back at Matt’s house, the Bucks and SCU are sitting around a table outside when Nick says they should’ve booked themselves to win the title. Matt apologizes for how they treated them earlier. CD brings them his “Arabian hot chocolate recipe that he’s been working on for 20 years.” When he drops the drinks, Scorpio says “another botch!“ Nick says he is “LMAO IRL” and Matt says he is “crying with laughter emoji right now,” in reference to them deleting their Twitter accounts this week. Kaz starts to say “oh fudge!” when his VoiceOver says that he said “the whole word. Good ol’ F–K!” They say he ruined the party and leave him outside.
Kris Statlander is making coffee in a bowl. Trent asks if she likes aliens and she says she is an alien, then sips coffee from the bowl. Chuckie T tells her that they have aliens in their entrance video. She asks if they’re going to take her to their leader when Orange Cassidy walks up. As Statlander starts to boop his nose, he grabs her wrist and boops hers instead. She follows him as he walks away.

Omega and Matt are on the couch discussing AEW’s issues. Omega says they have to take care of them because they’re growing weekly. Naka comes in the room and Omega asks if he’s okay. He answers that he is, but he’s tired of losing. Omega tells him not to worry about PAC and if they ignore him, he’ll leave them alone. Losing is part of it and they’re in a rut. Naka says “he’ll take care of it” and leaves the room. Omega says they’re falling apart at the seams.
The Beaver Boys are walking down the hall in their new Dark Order masks. Silver pushes Reynolds to the side and asks why they did that (referring to the end of Dynamite). Reynolds tells him to “trust Uno.” Someone walks into the bathroom and is shown washing blood off his hands. Then, he throws a Dark Order mask into the trash can.
