So you forgot your stocking stuffers for the kids this year, and Toy’s R Us is still dead and buried, where do you go to get your pieces of useless plastic?
Sometimes you find yourself on your last legs and with nowhere else to go. Maybe you need instant potatoes, plastic toys that no sane person would want to buy, or maybe you’re short on drinks and plastic cutlery. Usually, you’d go to Target or Walmart but depending on when you go and where you live, they might already be closed. After all, neither chain is open past 8 P.M. on Christmas Eve, so you’re going to need to go someplace else.
That someplace else is Walgreens. Walgreens has two different types of stores, their 24-hour stores, and their none 24-hour stores. Most stores that aren’t open all night will either close at their regular hours or by no later than midnight on Christmas morning. That’s 12:00 AM Christmas morning just to be clear. Call ahead and double-check with your store to find out when it closes. For the 24 hour stores, you’ll be able to not only show up past midnight but well into Christmas Day to get the things you need. Walgreens is like that, willing to help you fulfill your last second holiday needs in order to make your day that much better.
If you’re in need of pharmacy hours, be sure to call the day of and ask them what time they open up at, if at all. Most places will have pharmacy hours on Christmas Eve, in order to ensure most people who need their medication can get it.
No matter if it’s Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, if you end up in Walgreens for your last second shopping needs, be sure to thank the crew working that day, as they’re the only reason why you’re able to shop.
