Walmart could come in handy on Christmas Day for last-minute gifts, food or several other things you might need but is the retail giant open on Dec. 25?
Who among us has not woken up on Christmas Day to realize that you either have forgotten something for the holiday meal or had a gift you meant to pick up for someone slip your mind? In that type of bind, there’s a good chance that a quick run to Walmart would be the first thing that comes to mind. And why wouldn’t it be?
In a quick run to Walmart, anyone can get any food or beverage need that you could possibly need. But you can also pick up a litany of gift ideas for just about anyone in your family. The retail giant is a one-stop shop for whatever you could possibly need in a given situation, particularly if you find yourself in a jam.
However, with this being the holiday season, the worry about a trip to any business is that they might not be open. After all, the employees need a break from the Christmas madness too. So that then leads us to the question of if Walmart is open on Christmas Day in 2019?
Unfortunately, if you were counting on a clutch Walmart run on Christmas, you’re going to need a plan B as Dec. 25 is the one day every year that the retail giant closes its doors.
Walmart stores throughout the United States and the world will close their doors at 8 p.m. local time on Christmas Eve and will open up for regular store hours on Dec. 26. Obviously that doesn’t help you if you’re in a holiday pinch but the employees certainly deserve the respite after having been bombarded by holiday shopping over the past month.
So hopefully you don’t desperately need anything from Walmart on Christmas Day and it can wait until the day after the holiday — because you’re going to have to wait.
