DraftKings NBA picks December 27: The Young and the rest of us

The holidays have been nice for the DraftKings NBA slates. We have another solid six game slate today, but Cleveland and Boston tip in the afternoon, so that is available as showdown only. Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered there too. That leaves five games for our main DraftKings NBA slate.

We’ve got stars with Embiid, Young, and Giannis playing. We should also have some decent value with OKC and Charlotte, not to mention the Warriors. Let’s see what injuries could make our day miserable first.

Out: Steph Curry (hand), Deandre Ayton (ankle), Danilo Gallinari (ankle), Victor Oladipo (knee), Eric Bledsoe (leg), Justise Winslow (back), Alex Len (ankle), Hamidou Diallo (elbow), Michael Carter-Williams (shoulder), Andre Roberson (knee), Al-Farouq Aminu (knee), Matisse Thybulle (knee), Kevon Looney (abdomen), Klay Thompson (knee).

Questionable: Malcolm Brogdon (groin), Eric Paschall (hip).

The return of Washington takes a little of the Charlotte value up front away, but there’s still enough there to explore.

I was heavy on both Beal and Fox last night, so it was a rough go. Still, with the money lineup only at 240.75, I put two lineups above the cash line. One had Beal and Dillon Brooks. The other had Fox. I survived thanks to Holmes and heavy doses of Lillard.

southernsno took it down with a modest 339.75 DraftKings points. He faded the Thunder guards that had been tearing it up and leaned on Paul instead. Add that to Holmes, Randle, JJJ, Tim Frazier, and the two Spurs guys worth playing and you have a takedown. Some nights you just need to avoid guys who go under 30 DraftKings points. This was one of those.
