Best Original Song ā Motion Picture
Pick: āInto the Unknown,ā Frozen 2
Out of all the nominees for Best Original Song, some are definitely better than others, however āInto the Unknownā from the Frozen sequel is the favorite going into the prestigious awards event. The very talented Idina Menzel delivers a powerful and compelling song that could light the fire on even the coldest of cold hearts. It easily ranks high on the classic Disney song list, and some have also said its one of the best songs of 2019, making it a fitting choice to win the award at the 77th annual Golden Globes.
Best Original Score ā Motion Picture
Pick: Hildur Guðnadóttir, Joker
There are so many excellent original scores that came out this year, itās surprising that the Golden Globes were able to whittle down their list of the best of the best composers. All the films chosen are worthy of taking home the award, but none more so then the score featured in Todd Phillipās Joker film. Hildur Guưnadóttir somehow finds humanity in the dark, gritty picture and enhances his psychotic odyssey to the point of perfection.
With so much chaos and insanity featured throughout the critically acclaimed film, someone needed to transform the darkness into some sensitive musicality. Gudnadottir developed the characterās theme before shooting (which is rare), and Phillips even played it during a crucial scene. This ordeal apparently changed the whole film. Thatās right, her score became a game-changer both on and off-screen, making Jokerās score the front-runner for the Globe this year.
