DraftKings EuroLeague basketball picks January 3
We have the five game set of Round 16 of the DraftKings EuroLeague tournaments today. That gives us a few more options, and I really like the depth of this slate. Yesterday was a fairly easy build. This one could be a little more difficult. First, let’s check out the injury report.
Out: Alexey Shved (illness), Bryant Dunston (arms), Peyton Siva (thigh), Sergio Llull (thigh), Nemanja Nedovic (quad), Mikhail Kulagin (calf).
Questionable: Anthony Randolph (calf), Sam Van Rossom (undisclosed….my guess is he’s too good to be this cheap, so DK is intervening), Jordan Loyd (finger), Shelvin Mack (overcrowding of Milan roster).
Loyd is probably the closest one to playing. If Van Rossom does, I’m still using him.
I had a lineup full of solid plays yesterday, but it still wasn’t enough.
The rotations can be frustrating sometimes as more players see the court than in your average NBA game. The games themselves are also shorter, playing four ten minute quarters as opposed to 12 minutes in the NBA. The court is smaller, the lane is bigger, and the three point line is closer, but the action is still what you would expect from world class basketball!
For DraftKings EuroLeague, we can’t expect 5x value like in the NBA. Most winning lineups are around 180-200 DraftKings points, which is around 3.5 – 4x value.
