DraftKings NBA Shooting Guards:

Best Bets:

Devin Booker ($8,400): Are we witnessing Booker’s ascension into the NBA’s elite? We know he has the talent, but inconsistency fueled by inefficiency have always been his undoing. However, Booker has at least 50 DraftKings points in five of the last six games. The one he missed was still a game over 5x value against the Lakers. He had a rough game the first time against Orlando, but with the way Booker is playing right now, I’m seriously considering riding the hot hand.

Lou Williams ($7,400): I’m a little surprised that LouWill is this cheap. Williams had 40.25 DraftKings points in the first game against the Warriors and could be in for an even bigger night with George on the sidelines. It’s not like Williams has been bad with George and Kawhi in there either. He has at least 30 DraftKings points in eight of his last dozen games. This is a low risk-high reward option tonight.

DeMar DeRozan ($7,200): DeRozan has 81.5 DraftKings points in two games against Memphis. DeRozan has been over 34 DraftKings points in every game since Christmas and has topped 40 in all but two games. Every time I think DeRozan is going to slow back down, he keeps putting up these good numbers. He is clearing 5x value with ease right now. DeRozan doesn’t have a ton of upside, but I really like the floor.

Honorable Mention:

Terry Rozier ($6,900): It was Rozier and not Graham that tore up Utah the first time through. Rozier had 42 DraftKings points in that game. Rozier’s low mark over the month of January was 39.5 against the Raptors on Wednesday. He is a far better option that Graham right now and comes at a very nice discount.

Jordan McRae ($6,500): McRae, like most of his teammates, bottomed out against Orlando on Wednesday even though Beal was still out. However, this may be one of the times that it pays to have a short memory. The Hawks are a terrible defensive team. If Beal is out again, I’m willing to go back to the McRae well when few will. If Beal is in, I would bet it’s in a limited capacity which renders both players useless for DFS.

Kevin Huerter ($6,100): The Wizards are equally bad defensively, and Huerter has been cooking lately. It’s a little concerning that he didn’t have great numbers against Houston, but that’s what happens when Trae goes for 80. What are the chances of that happening again? What you feel the answer is will determine whether you use Huerter or not.

Dark Horses:

J.J. Redick ($5,600): Redick has 121.5 DraftKings points over the four games with Holiday out, playing at least 27 minutes in each of the games. He’s going to see plenty of minutes with Holiday sidelined and is going to get plenty of shots. I like the upside, but I think the ceiling is much lower against the Knicks than the Bulls.

Duncan Robinson ($4,000): Robinson is still starting, but is splitting time evenly with Herro. I think both are solid values tonight. Robinson has taken 11 threes in each of the last three games. Since Robinson starts the floor is higher than Herro, but Herro has been the one to put up big numbers from time to time.
