NBC is kicking off the new year with a brand new series inspired by the best-selling book The Bone Collector. Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector is the network’s latest thrilling drama and stars Arielle Kebbel, Russell Hornsby, and Michael Imperioli.
The series follows former genius NYPD detective Lincoln Rhyme who becomes paralyzed after a failed attempt to catch the serial killer called the Bone Collector. Years after the accident, the killer resurfaces, and officer Amelia Sachs is the first on the scene.
Rhyme, who is brought back in the mix, sees potential in Sachs and makes her his eyes in the field. Together, the two form an unlikely partnership that might be what’s necessary to catch this elusive psychopath.
This isn’t the first time the novel has been adapted. A film starring Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie, The Bone Collector, was released in 1999. Now the property created by author Jeffery Deaver makes its way to the small screen for what promises to be one deadly game of cat and mouse.
