Duke is set to face off with Louisville this week and Auburn looks to stay undefeated as the college basketball action really heats up in Week 11.

The football season is to wrapping up, with the College Football Playoff National Championship Game Monday night and the NFL Playoffs down to the final four teams. Soon other sports will need to fill the void, and college basketball should shoot to the top of the list.

In case you’ve lived under a rock, this college hoops season has been completely off-the-wall nuts. The ACC may only get five teams in the NCAA Tournament, the Big East is back, and even #Pac12AfterDark is a thing again for hoops fans.

Now is as good a time as any to get acquainted with the world of college basketball again, so be sure to check out our five best games of the week, beginning with a huge showdown in the A-10.

Mid-Major Game of the Week: VCU (12-4) at Dayton (14-2)-Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. ET on CBS Sports Network

This week’s mid-major spotlight returns to the Atlantic 10, which has a ranked team in Dayton set to take on perennial powerhouse VCU. The Flyers have perhaps the nation’s most unheralded star in forward Obi Toppin, but he may not be available for this game after leaving Saturday’s win over UMass with an ankle injury.

Seton Hall (12-4) at Butler (15-1)-Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. ET on Fox Sports 1

The Bulldogs were picked to finish eighth in the Big East’s preseason polls, but no one told that to Butler, which has been one of the country’s best teams this season. Butler plays host to a very good Seton Hall team here that is on a six-game winning streak and features a game-breaker in Myles Powell.

Virginia (11-4) at Florida State (14-2)-Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. ET on ESPN2

The ACC is a bit of a barren wasteland this season, so there are few real opportunities for contenders to improve their resumes. One big opportunity presents itself here as the Cavaliers travel down to Tallahassee to face off with the Seminoles, who have won seven straight games and are in second place in the ACC after a 4-1 start to league play.

Auburn (15-0) at Florida (10-5)-Saturday at 1:30 p.m. ET on CBS

We’ll stay in the state of Florida for this one as Auburn, one of two undefeated teams left in the country, take a dangerous road trip to Gainesville. The Gators were ranked preseason and still possess a ton of talent, making them a major threat to pull off the upset on their home floor.

Louisville (13-3) at Duke (15-1)-Saturday at 6:00 p.m. ET on ESPN

This showdown of ACC powerhouses is the unquestioned game of the week as Louisville takes on Duke. The winner of this game likely has the inside track to the conference’s regular-season title and a potential no. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament.
