It’s time once again for the Grammy Awards. For those looking to find out who will be hosting the 62nd annual Grammy Awards, then you’ve come to the right place.
The Grammys are once again upon us, and everyone is very excited to honor the best of the best in the music industry. The only thing more exciting than the event itself is who they got to host the prestigious event: the one, and only Alicia Keys.
This will be Keys’ second time hosting the Grammys. Fans remember how she did such a superb job last time around, so it makes perfect sense why she was asked to do so once again. And given the nominees, performances, and other surprises in store for the big night, all signs point to Key’s second run as host has “sequel with no equal” written all over it.
The 15 time Grammy winner will be leading the way on Grammy night that is set to have some great live acts from some of the biggest names in the industry like Lizzo and Ariana Grande, just to name a few. Besides performing, Lizzo also leads the way in nominations. The artist received eight while Billie Eilish and Lil Nas X came in a close second with six each.
This year’s awards showcase promises to be bigger than ever and looks to outdo last year’s special in every way possible. Having Keys take the reigns once again not only demonstrates her expertise as an emcee but that her presence adds significant value overall to anything she is part of, thus ensuring this year’s Grammys will not be one to miss.
Make sure to tune in to CBS on Sunday, Jan. 26, to see Alicia Keys host the 62nd annual Grammy Awards live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Also, check back with FanSided for all your news on the 2020 Grammys, including our live result updates on the night of the event.
