DraftKings EuroLeague basketball picks January 15

The final three games of round 19 of the EuroLeague season make up today’s DraftKings EuroLeague tournaments. Despite only three games, this is actually a pretty good slate. First, we need to check the injuries that we have to deal with.

Out: Gustavo Ayon (hip), Luca Vildoza (shoulder), Dmitry Khvostov (ankle), Stratos Perperoglu (knee), Patricio Garino (knee), Jayson Granger (knee), Marius Grigonis.

Questionable: Lorenzo Brown (ankle), Dejan Davidovac (ankle), Thomas Bray (knee).

Bray is finally travelling with the team and was reportedly close to making his season debut last week. He’s intriguing because of the price, but I would think that Munich is going to limit his minutes and he will likely be very rusty. I don’t think I would take the plunge just yet.

Both of my lineups were solid yesterday. Larkin and Mirotic put up good lines. Doornekamp was a bit of a letdown for as fast as he started the game but getting nearly 20 for his price helped propel one of the lineups into the cash. The other missed by a few points.

The rotations can be frustrating sometimes as more players see the court than in your average NBA game. The games themselves are also shorter, playing four ten minute quarters as opposed to 12 minutes in the NBA. The court is smaller, the lane is bigger, and the three point line is closer, but the action is still what you would expect from world class basketball!

For DraftKings EuroLeague, we can’t expect 5x value like in the NBA. Most winning lineups are around 180-200 DraftKings points, which is around 3.5 – 4x value.
