DraftKings NBA centers:
Best Bets:
Nikola Jokic ($10,100): Jokic continues to put up solid numbers, so he may finally have a pretty stable floor. He looked bored and disinterested for much of the first 10 weeks of the season, but is playing with a purpose now. You just never know when he’s going to drop 70. The potential is certainly there tonight if this game stays close.
Clint Capela ($8,100): Capela annihilated Portland in the first meeting, dominating Whiteside and anyone else they tried to put in his way. Capela racked up 58 DraftKings points in that game, a mark he has hit twice this month already. Capela is capable of a huge game here.
Honorable Mention:
Al Horford ($6,700): Horford put up 36.25 DraftKings pionts in just 27 minutes in the first meeting with Brooklyn. Horford has 113 DraftKings points in the three games with Embiid out. He is performing far above his price right now. Play him until he’s not.
Myles Turner ($6,500): This is more of a preemptive strike for Sabonis being out or limited. If Sabonis plays I don’t feel as good about this, but there is a path to fantasy success for Turner here with Towns most likely out again. If Sabonis is out as well, I wont have a lineup without Turner.
Dark Horses:
Marvin Bagley ($5,700): With Holmes still out, I think the Kings quickly realized that they were better with Bagley and Bjelica on the court together. Of course, that doesn’t mean that the Kings wont start Harry Freaking Giles overBagley again, though Bagley will still play more minutes even though he is still on an undisclosed minutes limit and undoubtedly have much better production.
Dwight Powell ($5,300): Powell is putting up good numbers with Porzingis out, but if he returns, we’ll have to look elsewhere. If Porzingis is back, find the extra $400 for Bagley or Enes Kanter. Kanter had 33.5 DraftKings points in the first meeting with Detroit.
Naz Reid ($3,900): Aside from Covington, Reid has been about the only guy playing with fire for the Timberwolves lately. He has 47.25 DraftKings points despite only playing 36 minutes over the last two games. Reid is an interesting value play since I think Minnesota really needs his production right now.
