DraftKings EuroLeague basketball picks January 16

We have a small three game DraftKings EuroLeague slate to kick off round 20 today. Don’t worry. There’s still plenty of action here and some interesting fade options. First, we need to take a look at who wont be participating in the festivities.

Out: Anthony Randolph (calf), Omri Casspi (knee), Rudy Fernandez (undisclosed), Tarik Black (knee), Thomas Huertel (knee), Jeff Brooks (hamstring), Riccardo Moraschini (leg), Kevin Pangos (toe), Egor Vialtsev, Andrey Desiatnikov, Maksim Barashkov, Jon DiBartolomeo.

Questionable: Ahmet Duverioglu (undisclosed)

Duverioglu wasn’t even on the active roster on Tuesday, so I doubt he will be for today either. Fenerbahce is finally back to full health, so that could be the reason with Duverioglu being the odd man out. To be honest, this is a cut-and-dry slate with no injury news to worry about! Those are rare, so enjoy it!

I felt pretty secure in my picks yesterday, so I only put in one lineup. Baron was a bit of a disappointment, but I still got strong games from Henry, Shengelia, Landale, and Huestis to make minimum cash.

The rotations can be frustrating sometimes as more players see the court than in your average NBA game. The games themselves are also shorter, playing four ten minute quarters as opposed to 12 minutes in the NBA. The court is smaller, the lane is bigger, and the three point line is closer, but the action is still what you would expect from world class basketball!

For DraftKings EuroLeague, we can’t expect 5x value like in the NBA. Most winning lineups are around 180-200 DraftKings points, which is around 3.5 – 4x value.
