WWE Friday Night SmackDown preview, January 17: Watch online
Here’s all the information you need for the Jan. 17, 2020 edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown.
Last week’s WWE Friday Night SmackDown had its share of drama. One of the biggest events of last week’s show was the “glorious” return of one Bobby Roode. He re-emerged and helped King Corbin and Dolph Ziggler put Roman Reigns through the announce table. Now, Roode must face his actions, when he squares off against Reigns in a tables match. The sides will be a little more even, with Roode having Ziggler and Corbin in his corner and Reigns having The Usos behind him.
Over the last couple of weeks, we’ve seen the return of John Morrison to WWE. And he’s returned to defend his longtime friend and former championship tag team partner, The Miz. He also managed to get on the bad side of The New Day, after diving off the ring steps onto Big E. This week, those two will settle their differences when Big E looks for revenge against Morrison.
The Friday night brand will welcome a special guest this week, and it’s the current Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee. For those unaware, that man would be known as Kane. With the Royal Rumble closing in, what could The Big Red Machine have up his sleeve?

We have seen that John Morrison doesn’t appear to have lost a step in the eight years he’s been away from WWE. And with his history of antics in the Royal Rumble, a feud between him and Kofi Kingston could have some serious potential. And the thought of Kane being in the building comes with its share of concern for practically everyone.
