2020 East-West Shrine Game: Team rosters

The 2020 East-West Shrine Game will be on Saturday. Here are the rosters for both teams, featuring all the players expected to play in the exhibition game.

Saturday, Jan. 18 will be the day the 2020 East-West Shrine Game takes place. Kickoff from Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida will be at 3:00 p.m. ET. It will be televised nationally on the NFL Network. Let’s find out now how will be playing and coaching in this exhibition contest.

Coaching the East Team will be Tampa Bay Buccaneers inside linebackers coach/assistant head coach Mike Caldwell. His offensive coordinator will be Indianapolis Colts quarterbacks coach Marcus Brady. Coaching the West Team will be Atlanta Falcons offensive assistant Ben Steele. His offensive coordinator will be Cowboys running backs coach Gary Brown. Notable players on the East Team offense include Mississippi State Bulldogs quarterback Tommy Stevens, South Carolina Gamecocks running back Rico Dowdle and Florida Gators wide receiver Freddie Swain. Notable players on the West Team offense include Missouri Tigers quarterback Kelly Bryant, Illinois Fighting Illini running back Reggie Corbin and Indiana Hoosiers wide receiver Nick Westbrook. Overall, the guys playing in this game are fringe NFL Draft prospects. Some might go as high as the fourth round, while others will be lucky to be a seventh-round pick by a team. Regardless, these players will most certainly get their opportunity with an NFL team, whether they are drafted or sign with a team as an undrafted free agent.
