DraftKings NBA Power Forwards:

Best Bets:

Domantas Sabonis ($8,600): The Minnesota defense is so shoddy that Sabonis can flirt with 60 on them with one knee. The couple of days of rest should do the knee some good. It seems silly to predict that Sabonis will do better than the 58.25 that he put up on Wednesday, but I think he’ll be within ten points of that. That’s still an easy 6x value, which is hard to come by at prices this high. I’ll take a stand and say that Sabonis will be in the winning lineup tonight.

Pascal Siakam ($7,900): So what if Siakam is only playing 30 minutes? He is also priced at about 75% of what he was before the groin injury that cost him nearly a month. He’s still knocking some rust off, but I think he could have come close to 50 on the Wizards even with an injured groin. This team is still battered on the inside where they weren’t very good to begin with.

Honorable Mention:

Kevin Love ($7,200): DraftKings is practically begging us to play Love at this price. Memphis is pretty solid up front, but he put up 41.75 DraftKings points in the first meeting with the Grizzlies. Love is playing like a man that knows his future is about to get better. He is basically trying out for other teams right now, and if he keeps throwing up 40’s, someone will rescue him from the basketball hell that is Cleveland post-LeBron.

Carmelo Anthony ($6,200):Dallas is a pretty good defensive team, but that could actually favor Melo. They are weakest against forwards, so with all of the attention on the guards, Melo should be free to score at will. He has three straight games of 36 or more DraftKings points. That should happen again tonight.

Dark Horses:

Davis Bertans ($5,300): DraftKings pretty much nailed the price with Bertans. He has between 25 and 29 DraftKings points in every game back from injury so far. I like his upside going forward, but that isn’t going to take hold until he’s back up to his full compliment of minutes. The Wizards are still limiting the minutes are Bertans. I would expect he’ll be around 28 tonight, which is plenty of time for him to hit value for this price.

Rudy Gay ($4,500): The bottom of power forward looks like something out of Mad Max tonight. There’s not a lot to like about any of them. Gay at least is a proven commodity getting solid minutes. He doesn’t have any upside at this stage of his career, but Gay is still plenty capable of putting up 25-30 DraftKings points against a team like Atlanta.
