DraftKings NBA centers:

Best Bets:

Andre Drummond ($9,500): This is rich. Drummond gets a chance to beat up on his future team, one that couldn’t pull off a deal for him about a week ago. Atlanta is going to wish they had. Drummond has 98.75 DraftKings points against the Hawks in just 64 minutes so far this year. Don’t expect anything to hurt his numbers in this one.

Rudy Gobert ($8,100): Gobert may finally be on track. It took him long enough. Gobert has five straight games of 47 or more DraftKings points and he’s still this cheap. Not only that, but he gets to take on a Kings team that is missing Holmes and is starting Harry Freaking Giles at center. This looks like another strong game for Rudy.

Honorable Mention:

Deandre Ayton ($8,000): Thursday was the kind of performance we have been waiting on with Ayton. He ravaged a Knicks team that was in the top ten of fantasy points allowed to centers. Ayton put up a 20/20 game on them. I think it’s safe to say the Suns wont bring him off the bench anytime soon. Boston is another team that’s fairly tough up front, but Ayton made it look easy on Thursday. Easy enough that it could become his new normal.

Hassan Whiteside ($7,900): Whiteside has 121 DraftKings points in just 78 minutes against the Thunder this season. Adams is playing better, but I still don’t think he can handle Whiteside. His outstanding season is going mostly unnoticed in Portland. Take notice and put him in your lineup.

Al Horford ($7,200): Horford’s numbers keep getting better with every game Embiid misses. Horford has at least 33 DraftKings points in every game with Embiid out and has only missed 5x value that one time. He’s a strong and safe play against the Knicks.

Dark Horses:

Luke Kornet ($5,500): Kornet had a few bursts last year when he played well. He has done a fine job filling in for Gafford and Carter over the last two games. Kornet has 50.75 DraftKings points in those games. He doesn’t have significant upside, but Kornet is a solid play for this price range.

Marc Gasol ($5,100): This is still absurdly cheap for Gasol, who has not only taken his starting job back, but he has picked up as if he missed no time at all. Gasol has 75.75 DraftKings points in two games since his return. I was an English major not a math major, but that looks like north of 7x value to me.

Daniel Theis ($4,900): Theis has back to back games over 30 DraftKings points. The fact that the Suns have allowed the most fantasy points to centers is a bit surprising, but also a bit off base. They’ll pull out of the basement with Ayton back, but he’s still learning. There’s plenty of upside for Theis.
