9. player. 52. . Offensive Tackle. Jacksonville Jaguars. Jedrick Wills Jr.

The Jacksonville Jaguars went into the 2019 with high expectations, as they had just spent a ton of money on former Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles to be their future at quarterback. Unfortunately for Foles and the team, he suffered a broken collarbone early in the season, and they had to turn to 2019 sixth-round pick, Gardner Minshew.

While the rookie played well early on, and captured the imagination of the league thanks to his headband and mustache, the luster wore off towards the end of the season. As they enter 2020, they have to figure out who will be their guy going forward, but one thing is for sure, they  need to do a better job of protecting whoever is under center this season.

With the No. 9 overall pick, the Jaguars should bring in offensive line help, and Alabama’s Jedrick Wills Jr. is good enough to be the second offensive lineman off the board. He has the versatility to play on both sides of the line, and is a nasty blocker, something that would work well with the rebuild in Jacksonville.

10. player. 53. . Offensive Tackle. Cleveland Browns. Tristan Wirfs

If there was one team that came into the season with hype surrounding them, it was the Cleveland Browns, who spent big money on talent in the offseason. In addition, their second-year quarterback was all over the television appearing in ads, but unfortunately, all the hype did not translate into wins.

In fact, the Browns were one of the more disappointing teams in football this past season, and have already made the move to a new head coach. Kevin Stefanski will be getting his first NFL head coach job in 2020, and he made a smart move this week, bringing in former head coach Bill Callahan to be his offensive coordinator.

Still, no matter how many moves this team makes this offseason, they have to address the fact that Mayfield took a step back in 2019, and ran for his life for most of the season. At pick No. 10, they should bring in Iowa’s Tristan Wirfs, who has the ability to start at left tackle right away at the NFL level, and this offensive line needs all the talent they can get.
