WWE Friday Night SmackDown preview, January 24: Watch online
Here’s all the information you need for the Jan. 24, 2020 edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown.
Just three nights before WWE heads to Houston for this Sunday’s Royal Rumble, we make one final stop at Friday Night SmackDown to put the final pieces together for the big night. Let’s take a look at what we can look forward to this week.
A situation that has been ages in the making will culminate on Sunday, as “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt defends the Universal Championship against Daniel Bryan. Last week, Bryan surprised Wyatt and attacked him during a segment involving Kane and appeared to rip out some of Wyatt’s hair, reminiscent of the same thing happening to Bryan recently. This week, the two will make their Royal Rumble match official with a contract signing.
Since returning to WWE, The Usos have been on the side of their cousin Roman Reigns. And they’ve come in handy, given Reigns’ recent problems with King Corbin and Dolph Ziggler. This week, Reigns and The Usos will team up to face Corbin, Ziggler and Robert Roode in a six-man tag match. It’ll be a bit of a preview for Reigns and Corbin on Sunday, when they meet in a Falls Count Anywhere match. What will happen when these two sides collide on Friday night?
