DraftKings NBA picks January 25: Money can buy Love

We have a five game Saturday in the NBA, but the game in Salt Lake City starts early so we only have four games for our DraftKings NBA tournaments. That’s too bad because frankly this slate could have used Rudy and Luka to balance out ownership a little.

Out: Joel Embiid (finger), Lauri Markkanen (pelvis), Josh Richardson (hamstring), Wendell Carter (ankle), Luke Kennard (knee), Otto Porter (foot), Daniel Gafford (thumb), Kevin Porter (knee), Jake Layman (toe), DeMarcus Cousins (knee), Brandon Knight (knee), Dylan Windler (leg), Andre Roberson (knee), Kevin Durant (Achilles), Blake Griffin (knee), Khyri Thomas (foot.

Questionable: Anthony Davis (arse), Andre Drummond (mouth), DeAndre Jordan (finger), JaVale McGee (illness), Bruce Brown (illness), Tony Snell (illness), Nicolas Claxton (shoulder), Abdel Nader (ankle), Turd Ferguson (personal).

They finally found something wrong with Markkanen. If he has been battling this all season, it explains a lot. Everything else is kind of up in the air.

The early slate is rather simple for me. We can run Curry at captain and play Luka, Gobert, Kleber, and literally anyone else we want. Curry is cheap enough that you can run Luka or Gobert at captain if you are willing to use other Dallas guards for value.

Just because you don’t see someone on here doesn’t mean they aren’t a good play. I only have so much room, and I’m not going anyone a favor if I recommend more than half of the players at a position. If you have a feeling about someone, by all means, follow that. I mostly follow numbers and trends.
