NFL uniform power rankings: The top 100 of all-time
70. 2018 Kansas City Chiefs
Ketchup bottle? Yes, but we know Patrick Mahomes love ketchup. Plus, the Chiefs only roll these out when the games are big, so there’s a certain element of anticipation with them. Monochrome is usually a bad idea, but these are solid.
69. 1958 Chicago Cardinals
You aren’t going to find a uniform simplier than this. The red pants do have a double-white stripe down the sides, but that’s it. No shoulder numbers, no stripes on the sleeves, no outline on the numbers. Old school.
68. 1995 Seattle Seahawks
Seattle went with a little extra on these uniforms, but count us among its fans. The sleeves now have seahawks on either side, with more green striping on both the sleeves and pants. Also, big fan of the blue facemask.
67. 2017 Houston Texans
Houston has never changed its uniform, and we salute the Texans for it. The red, white and blue combination has worked for America, and it’s working for Houston.
66. 1948 Philadelphia Eagles
Philadelphia won a pair of titles in these, and what a dashing look it was. The Eagles were ahead of most teams with a design on the helmet, along with those sweet green pants. Well done.
65. 2002 Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The biggest problem with these are we had to lose Bucco Bruce and the gang for them. Still, the pewter is a cool color and one that no other team had never worn before. The helmet is a bit bland, but the uniform gets a passing grade.
64. 1956 San Francisco 49ers
The 49ers brought these back in 1994, but the originals deserve a spot of their own. Of course, the helmets here weren’t replicated in ’94, and neither were those belts. These are fantastic.
63. 2018 Minnesota Vikings
The Vikings have done a nice job of not staying too far from what the uniforms has classically looked like. These current duds are a bit different, but mostly in the striping. Purple and gold continues to be a nice combination.
62. 2018 Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jaguars had one of the busiest uniforms in the league for the better part of the last decade, but their finally wised up. Again, nothing wild here. Jaguar on the chest, white numbers against a teal background, and a shiny black helmet without any bells and whistles.
61. 1992 San Diego Chargers
These uniforms are always forgotten in Chargers history, but it’s one of the more menacing schemes we’ve seen. San Diego went from light to dark blue, and lost the yellow pants for white at home and blue on the road. Very underrated.
