DraftKings NBA Shooting Guards:

Best Bets:

Brad Beal ($8,300): This isn’t a good matchup, but it doesn’t really matter. Beal is the Wizards offense. He has at least 51 DraftKings points in three straight. It took him a bit to regain the form he had before the injury, but Beal seems to be back to that now. His price is still low enough that he can blow the lid off of 5x value, even against a team like the Bucks. If this is a blowout though, Beal will be rested along with everyone else once it gets out of reach.

Jrue Holiday ($7,900): Holiday is still an elite scorer on this team, but the upside is way down with each increasing minute that Zion gets. I’m not saying that Holiday wont do well with him on the court. I just think it’s needs to work itself out before we really know what we’re getting out of Holiday every night. All I know is that Cleveland is weak against guards and Love still plays solid defense.

Honorable Mention:

D’Angelo Russell ($7,600): He’s all the Warriors have. I have a feeling that Simmons may be on Russell, which might be enough to make me move off of this. Even so, Russell has at least 50 DraftKings points in three of the last four games including against Indiana and Orlando, two strong defensive teams. Sometimes you have to make a play based on volume alone.

Collin Sexton ($6,500): Sexton led the Cavs in scoring in the win over the Pistons last night. The bad news is that’s about all Sexton did. He dished out a handful of assists, but the lack of defensive stats will always hold Sexton’s DFS numbers down. This is a nice matchup though and the points should be plentiful. Just keep in mind that Sexton is a lot more of a risk with his price this high since he usually doesn’t do much besides score.

Dark Horses:

Malik Monk ($4,800): Monk has 51 DraftKings points over the last two games. Of course, we never know if Charlotte is actually going to play him or not. There’s not a ton of minutes to go around behind Graham and Rozier, but Monk has been spelling both of them and doing a good job of it. He’s worth a flier at this price, but Charlotte could take away his minutes at any time.

J.J. Redick ($4,400): Redick has at least 23 DraftKings points in each of the last two games. The wings are getting crowded with everyone healthy, but Redick is one of the few snipers on this this team. He makes other teams have to defend the perimeter. Redick is mostly a scorer, but he’s priced low enough that he normally makes value.

Donte DiVincenzo ($4,300): DiVincenzo is still getting solid minutes with the Bucks at full strength because most of their games get out of hand. That’s what I expect tonight. Even then, I don’t know that DiVincenzo gets extra run. He is an important part of the Bucks rotation. They will likely empty the bench before Donte gets much more than 20 minutes, but he still does enough in those minutes to put him well above value most nights.
