DraftKings EuroLeague basketball picks January 30

It is another very unbalanced DraftKings EuroLeague slate. Today is the heavy day with six of the nine games today, and that’s after they chopped off the battle of Moscow from every slate. That takes Shved and Mike James off the slate. Oh, and that leaves just two games on tomorrow’s DraftKings EuroLeague slate. Come on! I know the Moscow game starts 90 minutes before the rest, but it’s still at noon eastern! That’s when most of these slates start anyway.

Let’s see who’s going to miss today’s games on this large slate.

Out: Pierria Henry (cheek), Mateusz Ponitka (ankle), Cory Higgins (ankle), Tarik Black (knee), Charles Kahudi (ankle), Luca Vildoza (shoulder), Yovel Zoosman (thumb), Jeff Brooks (hamstring), Andrey Zubkov (hip), Riccardo Moraschini (hamstring), Kevin Pangos (toe), Tim Schneider (back), Marius Grigonis (foot), Stefan Peno (knee), Patricio Garino (knee), Aleksej Pokusevski (undisclosed), Jayson Granger (Achilles), Omri Casspi (knee), Jon DiBartolomeo (pectoral), Nate Wolters (hip).

Questionable: Vladimir Lucic (undisclosed), Gustavo Ayon (finger), Ilimane Diop (wrist), Dmitry Khvostov (ankle), Zan Sisko (groin).

Losing Henry to a broken cheekbone is a big blow to Baskonia since he is leading the league in steals. It does open up some interesting value though. Ayon is likely to play, but he wont be at 100%. That’s enough for me to avoid on such a large slate.

The rotations can be frustrating sometimes as more players see the court than in your average NBA game. The games themselves are also shorter, playing four ten minute quarters as opposed to 12 minutes in the NBA. The court is smaller, the lane is bigger, and the three point line is closer, but the action is still what you would expect from world class basketball!

For DraftKings EuroLeague, we can’t expect 5x value like in the NBA. Most winning lineups are around 180-200 DraftKings points, which is around 3.5 – 4x value.
